Suzanne Deveney Educational Advantage Branding Instructor


As principal of her own company, Ms. Deveney works with startups and existing companies to develop and refine their brands using a clear, concise voice across appropriate channels and via the right medium.

Using more than 25 years of experience, she works with startup companies and business leaders, helping them achieve success by clarifying their message to get to the heart of their value. She works with Educational Advantage Inc. to develop programs that engage participants and improve learning through visual and creative processes.

She started her career as a graphic designer. After receiving a master’s degree in marketing communications, she moved through the ranks as director and VP at a number of in-house marketing groups, in a variety of industries, including global financial services, accounting, consulting, and healthcare, at both B2B and B2C companies. Throughout her career, she has mentored junior communication professionals and designers, helping them find their own strengths and unique voice while working in a corporate environment.

Ms. Deveney also served as adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago, Department of Communications for three years.
