A Chicago native, Brittany is the fourth generation of a Chicago restaurant family. This has provided her with a unique network of restaurateurs, operators, and a wealth of restaurant experts and professionals that she can rely on for support.
In 2008, in an effort to gain operations experience, she joined Food For Thought Enterprises, a client of Educational Advantage. For three years she worked first as a server and worked her way up to bartender, captain and supervisor for off-premise events for up to 10,000 people.
In 2011, wishing to expand her knowledge of the hospitality industry, she joined Levy Restaurants at Fulton’s on the River as the office manager. Over her two years there she expanded her role to manage the marketing program for the restaurant, food and beverage inventory as well as booking private events.
In 2013, she came on as the Managing Director at Educational Advantage. During her employment with Educational Advantage, she has run three summer youth programs for 360 Chicago Housing Authority residents, built and implemented training programs for the Preservation of Affordable Housing, Metropolitan Family Services, Employment and Employer Services and Near West Side Development Corp as well as created customized training materials for a number of restaurants all the way from Chicago to Panama City Beach, Florida.
Brittany also serves on the Board of Directors as the vice president for Common Pantry in Chicago. IL.
